Try to compile evtouch Touchscreendriver

I try to compile the evtouch touchscreendriver from hxxp://stz-softwaretechnik.com/~ke/touchscreen/evtouch-0.8.0-src.tar.gzfor Slackware 11.0
Using
Code:
xmkmf -a
as written in the README I get the following error messages
Code:
evtouch.c:32:18: misc.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:34:18: xf86.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:36:24: xf86_ansic.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:37:25: xf86_OSproc.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:38:24: xf86Xinput.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:39:18: xisb.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:40:22: exevents.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:42:49: missing binary operator before token "("
evtouch.c:47:24: xf86Module.h: No such file or directory
evtouch_sm.c:26:18: misc.h: No such file or directory
evtouch_sm.c:28:18: xf86.h: No such file or directory
evtouch_sm.c:30:24: xf86_ansic.h: No such file or directory
evtouch_sm.c:31:25: xf86_OSproc.h: No such file or directory
evtouch_sm.c:32:24: xf86Xinput.h: No such file or directory
evtouch_sm.c:33:18: xisb.h: No such file or directory
evtouch_sm.c:34:22: exevents.h: No such file or directory
Any ideas what is wrong or does anybody have a compiled touchscreen drver for Slackware 11.0?

These missing files are not part of slackware. are you sure the driver will work with xorg?

I switched to a more recent version and
Code:
./configure XORG_CFLAGS=-Os XORG_LIBS=/home/w/xorg/xc/ EVCALIBRATE_CFLAGS=-Os EVCALIBRATE_LIBS=/home/w/xorg/xf86-input-evtouch-0.8.1
produced a Makefile without error.
Before that I untared the sources for xorg-6.9.0 to /home/w/xorg/
But make gives the following errors
Code:
evtouch.c:33:18: misc.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:35:18: xf86.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:37:24: xf86_ansic.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:38:25: xf86_OSproc.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:39:24: xf86Xinput.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:40:18: xisb.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:41:22: exevents.h: No such file or directory
evtouch.c:43:49: missing binary operator before token "("
In file included from evtouch.c:55:
.
.and so on

Do you have the X11-devel pkg installed. If so, maybe you need to pass --with-xlibs= to configure.

I finally managed to compile the driver. I had to add the location of the above header files to the make file (this headers ara not included in x11-devel but I took them from the sources of xorg-6.9.0).
make compiled the driver without errors. make install installed it into a different directory. I copied the evtouch_drv.so file to
Code:
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input/
startx gives me this message
Code:

(EE) LoadModule: Module evtouch does not have a evtouchModuleData data object.
(II) UnloadModule: "evtouch"
(II) Unloading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input/evtouch_drv.so
(EE) Failed to load module "evtouch" (invalid module, 0)
This driver really gives me some headache.
