Transparency in Aterm won't work, fbsetbg won't set previous background

Hello, I'm having some problems in Slackware 10.1. Somehow I can't turn on transparency in aterm. Here's what I have in .Xdefaults:

aterm*loginShell:true
aterm*transparent:true
aterm*tintingType:true
aterm*shading:90
aterm*tinting:white
aterm*background:Black
aterm*foreground:light blue
aterm*scrollBar:true
aterm*scrollBar_right:true
aterm*transpscrollbar:true
aterm*saveLines:32767
aterm*font:*-*-fixed-medium-r-normal--*-140-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1
aterm*boldFont:*-*-fixed-bold-r-normal--*-*-140-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1

That should obviously turn it on but it doesn't :| (maybe I did something wrong in the file, but I think it's all right). I tried adding "Composite" "Enable" stuff in xorg.conf but only fubared the display and showed a huge colored box in black background.

Now I'm using Fluxbox 0.9.12 and when I set the background with fbsetbg -f I get this error:

fbsetbg: Something went wrong while setting the wallpaper.
Run 'display -geometry 1280x1024+0+0 -window root hellsing_4.jpg' from an xterm to find out what.

And so I ran it and I get this:

***glibc detected *** double free or corruption (!prev): 0x08051a30 ***
Aborted

I still get the wallpaper set but it won't set on the reboot (and yes, I did put fbsetbg -l in the init file in .fluxbox)

I googled and googled but found nothing. Anybody know what might be going on? Any help appreciated.

Thanks, robot.

I've played around with it a bit, and found out that when I change the background with bsetroot (only change to a solid color) it makes aterm and menus transparent to that color. So if I change to red, I'll have tinted red menus and tinted red aterm, If I change to blue, I'd have tinted blue aterm and blue menus.

Any way to disable that, and just let me set the the image and transparency to it?

Well, anyhoo, screw that, I fixed it :D by updating the fluxbox package to 0.9.13 from 0.9.12 :|
