to 2.6.10 from 2.4.26 | ssh client | Host key verification failed


I have sm truble in my slackware linux 10. After migrating from default kernel to 2.6.10 my ssh client broken =(. When i try to connect to different host i see this: Host key verification failed. I tryed to remove pkg openssh and compile it from src, but it steel doesnt work in 2.6.10 and work fine in 2.4.26

vi ~/.ssh/known_hosts

Delete all the hosts you are trying to connect to and try again.

Am not a lamer, i know about it, my ~/.ssh/known_hosts doesnt exists at all

Just a though, what is your udev package version ?
ls /var/log/packages/udev*

Sorry, I did not insinuate that your were a lamer though. I will look into this further when I get home this evening.

ssh with 2.6.9

minutes earlier I upgraded from 2.4.26 due to a post here and then saw this.

Just applied the idea from the http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=lin...2008965&w=2 and it works

I had the same problem of no ssh after upgrade

I changed "Legacy (BSD) PTY support" from [y] to [ ]

and now I have ssh.

About a week ago I started Folding@Home because of post here. What you folks getting me into next?
