TigerVNC 1.1.0 ???

From the Mon Oct 14 22:09:17 UTC 2013 Changelog for Current:
Quote:
extra/tigervnc/tigervnc-1.1.0-x86_64-1.txz: Added.
Thanks to alienBOB.
TigerVNC 1.1.0 was released in Oct 2011, 1.2.0 in Mar 2012 and 1.3.0 in Jul 2013. 1.2.0 was already better than 1.1.0 and 1.3.0 is even better than that. I used 1.2.0 very frequently and never experienced problems. Likewise I use 1.3.0 very frequently now and yet have to see a problem.

Eric (AlienBOB) just answered this for me, see the end of my thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...why-4175480793

CliffNote version (as I understand it): TigerVNC 1.2 is not backward compatible.
