Thunar issue

so im trying to install thunar. it fails when trying to compile the installer gui. i am told to check the log for a reason. this is what the install log tells me...

Quote:
/usr/include/bits/local_lim.h:36:26: linux/limits.h: No such file or directory
i thought it was looking for the kernel source which i did not have installed. i installed it but i get the same error.

im running a default full install of slackware 11 running 2.6.17.13-smp. not sure where to go from here.

from /usr/include/bits/local_lim.h

Code:
/* The kernel sources contain a file with all the needed information. */
#include <linux/limits.h>
Actually ... if you did install the kernel source and it still doesn't work, try the headers ... it's also there.
