Thanks a lot... I was improving my Window Maker desktop for ten years. I was selecting applications and was seeking the best place for them. I newer have had any wallpaper. Just dockable applications and solid black background for root and white or gray for regular users. A few days ago I have seen sloppy wallpaper by pwc101 (Pierre Cazenave). It was like discovery of the new world. I customized it to my needs and now I have complete desktop.

Everybody has his own preferences. I like very tasteful wallpapers by pwc101, din, and lstamm, and I admire specialized's desktop for its subtle colors and windows.

Nevermind, figured it out I think. I think it is liquidweather, the superkaramba widget.

why not

Here is mine. Fluxbox with a background and clock with system tray. The only thing I really need to add is a pop out calender. I generally just open up xterm and type cal.

Some of those branded desktops are quite nice... somebody needs to make an unofficial package for them.... Though it should never be included with slackware. It's bad enough there is already a branded boot splash even though it's optional during the install process along with backgrounds unintentionally packaged with KDE by KDE.
