I use Window Maker. On the left and on the top there are twelve dockable applications. On the right are three icons of running applications. On the bottom is opened application launcher. I use white wallpaper with Slackware logo by pwc101.

I use WindowMaker, without a visible Dock or Clip. But I still have DockApps running. My setup allows the DockApps to be placed where normally the AppIcons would go, so I can have my 'Dock' in any corner, vertical or horizontal. Most of the visible icons are managed by the ROX-Filer. And I use taskbar as the panel.
I'll just link to a screenshot as it is too big for the limits for attachments: This_baby_screams
Here is my current KDE4 desktop, with mupen64plus emulator and rss-glx hyperspace screensaver and of course compiz-fusion with the cube and wallpaper plugin for multiple wallpapers.
