I think the white of the circuit lines on the background is a little too bright and draws the eye too much, perhaps a grey (maybe even try the dark grey of your background colour, but perhaps that might be a little too dark) might work better. Also, changing that cyan to the same blue as you use in your status display might help make it feel more consistent.
I like that wallpaper as it is. Perhaps you could change the background of the conkys, maybe transparent with white borders to fit the white circuits. Also, the color of text could be a combination of white and cyan.
Or, integrate the conky with the circuits, i.e. the text can be viewed within the circuits. The text of the color can once again be a combination of white and cyan or only one color, maybe cyan.
the aligned conky was making the desktop look too squared, and the taskbar at the bottom needed to go. I put a vertical taskbar on the bottom right and straightened up the conky with clever usage of spaces, dots, and offsets. That makes it look a lot more organic, and the new taskbar makes it a lot cleaner.
