Reminds me of that (Monty Python?) joke: --Two peanuts walked down the street, and one was assaulted.

My desktop. Not much to look at since I use a tiling WM (xmonad). A better look at regular use.

Hey Billy,
That is a really cool desktop!
Could you provide some details please? I am not familiar with FVWM. Can you provide some advice on how to set up a desktop like that with FVWM?
I have always used XFCE on Slackware. I have also played around a bit with Fluxbox. I don't know anything at all about FVWM.

You can call me D.That is the same pronunciation as my name in Chinese.
The attach file is my fvwm config file.
My fvwm version is 2.5.21.I am sure the trasparent effect will not work in 2.4 version.
Here is a list for other applications I installed :

fluxbox:I user fbsetbg to set desktop image and fbrun to run program.you can find it in config file like:

Code:
+ I Exec exec fbsetbg -f ~/.fvwm/wallpapers/1.jpg
And stalonetray was installed to show trayicons.

Code:
*BarButtons: (1x2, Swallow (NoClose,UseOld) "stalonetray" "Exec exec stalonetray -t --max-width 50 --no-shrink true")
wmclock was installed to show time and wmix to change volume.

Code:
*BarButtons: (1x2, Swallow "wmclock" "Exec exec wmclock")
*BarButtons: (1x2, Swallow "wmix" "Exec exec wmix")
conky was installed to print system info on the desktop.
You can find my conky config file in my early post.

wbar was installed as the docker in the bottom.

fcitx is a Chinese input method, so please delete it in config file.

As all my config file reference was written in Chinese, and I am too lazy to change it into English, so please do it yourself to delete them and change the menu item to English as you like.

Hope it could help you.

Sorry I don't know how to upload a compress file. So I change it name as .txt.
please download the attachment and rename it as fvwmok.7z.
Attached Files
File Type: txt fvwmok.txt (149.1 KB, 25 views)
