Transparent ones are only widgets ("folder-view") which are built-in KDE 4.x.x. To enable this function, just right click on desktop, click on "add widgets" and select folder view widget.

What media player are you using in the top left hand terminal? I've been looking for an intuitive looking cli media player for some time now, and that looks promising...
