How did you add Slackware to default text when you open your terminal
Why should I mind? I'm glad to help.
Just an ascii art.Like:

Code:
(~| _  _|    _  _ _
_)|(_|(_|<VV(_|| (/_

 / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \
( S | l | a | c | k | w | a | r | e )
 \_/ \_/ \_/ \_/ \_/ \_/ \_/ \_/
You can create your own from:
http://www.network-science.de/ascii/
Although I don't like a lot of the styles but you will find many such ascii text generators.

I have also attached mine.

np, another one with icons which are quite helpful since you can't always put everything in right click menu.

You mean the horizontal top conky? Eeks..I just changed it, plus now I'm using Arch. Show me your conkyrc and I'll take a lookand try to find a possible fix.

Nice and plain. Still have work to do on the top bar and if I could find some panel widgets that I actually find useful, I'd re-do the bottom.

Slide,

That looks pretty cool. I hadn't thought of adding a bar at the top to launch applications.

And here's how I'm doin' it now. Stole the conky look from someone else round here...shh... The background slowly fades to different colors constantly. I usually try to minimize resource usage, but it just looks so good!
