Just for giggles, not pretty and not really within the rules of this thread, but I could not resist after the MOTD.
Win7 is the reality.
The unreality is Cygwin running WindowMaker with a ssh connection to a KDE session on a Slackware machine with a rdesktop connection to a QEMU virtual machine running Win XP with a virtual network connection to a Win2K machine.

Not much change here: cli only... tmux, links, mc, alsamixer, screenfetch, fbdump, cal, htop.

Slackware 14.0 FVWM Pretty simple. I use keybinds to open all my apps.

Slackware 14.1 RC2 KDE 4.10.5

The screen you see is a dual-monitor setup. Two things to note: The flag on top is animated, and as for the bottom screen, I go to school there.

For my clients I have two options. Either the KDE-based workstation (MLWS):

http://www.microlinux.fr/desktop_linux.php

Or the Xfce-based "light desktop" (MLED):

http://www.microlinux.fr/desktop_linux_light.php

Sources and binaries can be found here:

Cheers,

Niki

Xfce in Microlinux looks very nice. Are you using Clearlooks Phenix?
