made it look a little more old-timey, and i think the wave ties in much better now.

Nice one. Could your share your conkyrc? I guess it is conky at the top.

for rss feeds there is a rss script for conky :-) in archive you have hidden conky directory, config files and scripts... i changed my username and pass for gmail, so change it to suit your needs...

Thanks to whoever posted a screenshot with Newsbeuter in it. I hadn't heard of it before and I quite like it .

I've tried a lot of rss readers, and Newsbeuter is the best that I have found. Enjoy...

Heya, all. Thanks for the tip on screenfetch-dev.I was messing with the script and saw that they decided to give slackware a magenta ascii color,if you look on line 806 after the "Slackware") entry and change c1 to 'c1="\e[1;34m" # Light Blue' .It does give it the nice Slackware blue color (s). The script's rather fun to tweak
