This is a hard one!

I'm trying to install drivers for my integrated radeon laptop video card.
It's a radeon IGP 340M. I've looked everywhere and I haven't found anything that I could make sense of.

Right now I'm running on basic Radeon configuration. It works well for 2d acceleration but, there's absolutely no 3d acceleration.

If any of you guys ever had success installing this card (doubt it) please let me know how you did it.

Thanks

Try these and try searching LQ - questions about ATI's drivers come up frequently. And, in future, please use more descriptive thread titles "this is a hard one!" tells us nothing at all about your problem.

If I were you, I would try the Laptop / Handheld forum. Go to the Sticky where they give sites ( Tuxmobile and Linux-laptops) that may have success stories about your model / brand laptop.

IMHO, you need to give a little more info about your laptop before someone else will attempt to provide more info.

Kernel , Manufacturer and Model would be a great help to me and others. My HP does hardware accel, but it's a IGP 9200...
running slack-current and 2.6.7 kernel (custom)
