the windows key on the keybord

i am a fan of useing the keyborad as little as possible. i like for example konqueror vs mozilla cuz i can navigate more w/ the keyborad. this is petty but in mdk 8.0 i used the windows key to open the k menu is there away of doing the same w/ slack? i just hate the mouse its takes more time to use all the time than to flat out use key it.
