terminal resolution

Another thing I noticed is my terminal resolution changed after switching to me new kernel. How can I get it back to 1024x768?

Make sure your framebuffer support is there with the option for text mode font selection or something to that effect. Then the vga= part in lilo should set you up right. I think that's the answer you need. Let me know...

lilo.conf never changed, it was the framebuffer support. Just wanted to follow up in case anyone else has the same problem.
