Terminal emulator for slackware?

Anyone knows what program that act similiar to gtkterm?
I need to communicate to serial device (not modem) using terminal emulator.
Gtkterm isn't available as .tgz package.

Tnx

well, I can't believe it doesn't come with a terminal emulator. Google says that slack uses KDE, so look for a program named Konsole on your computer. I know slack likes stable things so you might also look for a program called xterm. I can't imagine a distro without a terminal. Look around KDE menus for these.

There is rxvt, xterm, konsole, aterm and many others. You don't want a terminal emulator, you want a terminal interface. minicom is in the official Slackware package set. You need to run a local terminal or terminal emulator so that you have a command prompt to run minicom in. I can't help you in the usage of minicom because I haven't used it myself, but the man page looks quite extensive.
