tcpdump patch?
 

I'm currently following the howtoforge tutorial for slackware 12.0; as you can see it's outdated a little and I'm using 12.2. I'm wondering if there is any reason I still need a tcpdump patch. It looks necessary with 12.0, but do I still need it for 12.2?

I didn't see it here http://slackware.mirrors.tds.net/pub...ches/packages/ ; so I'm wondering if I should grab the tcpdump patch from the earlier version of slack.

Any suggestions about the necessity of this issue?

I went ahead and downloaded tcpdump anyways. I figured there was no harm in it.
