swaret questions

Just been trying out swaret tonight. Awsome program! Just wondering, is it possible to upgrade slackware itself with it? And if i have the source for a program (eg. mplayer) can i use swaret to install it and find/install the dependencies??

Yes, it is possible to upgrade all of Slackware with swaret. I did it today from 9.0 to 9.1. You can even do it (mostly) from the install CDs.

I believe swaret is only compatible with Slackware packages, so I don't think it can build from source, but I just started using it today...

I agree, very nice program.
