Swaret commands not working after install

I've installed swaret using the installpkg command, and have correctly set up the swaret.pl.conf. However, typing any of the swaret commands in terminal returns a "commmand not found" error message. I have tried it as sudo, su, su -, and even logging in directly as root. Nothing.

What am I missing?

Which commands are you using? The commands have changed in more recent versions of the software.

Any of the commmands suggested in http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Swaret

Can you give me a command to try?

If you just issue "swaret" on it's own (without the quotes) it will give you a list of commands.

Once you've found them, could you update the wiki?

Haha.

I would be glad to, but just typing swaret gives me an error, as I mentioned.

The executable for swaret-1.6.2 is /sbin/swaret. Run pkgtool and view to see where the swaret package files are located if you have a different version. With sudo you would have to explicitly enter the /sbin path but su - or root should have it established.

swaret --update # finds change items in the package database

swaret --upgrade # download and install packages

http://swaret.sourceforge.net/index....=viewtopic&p=5 has the new commands.
