Swaret and proxy

Hello. I am trying to setup Swaret behind a proxy and I can not seem to get it to work. I have added the appropriate IP and port of the proxy to the swaret.conf, but my proxy does require a user/password and Swaret never prompts for one, so is there something else that I can do to get this to work? Thanks in advance.

You can edit /etc/wgetrc or make a ~/.wgetrc and set the proxy to something like: http://youruser:yourpassword@yourproxy:8080/
The file is commented so you shouldn't have any problems to get it working.
Swaret uses wget to get the files so that should do it.
