swapped eth0 & eth1

Greetings,
after last -current update (Mon, 11 Apr 2011) my ethernet and wireless network interfaces swapped. So now, ethernet changed from eth0 -> eth1 and wireless from eth1 -> eth0.

I read somewhere that network interfaces are assigned when kernel loads modules, so first gets eth0, second eth1, etc.

Is this kernel or init scripts related?

try to remove udev persistent net rules (/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules) and let udev recreate it with a reboot, or edit it assigning the names you prefeer (it's the NAME parameter in that file) and reboot.
