What window manager are you using? If you're using KDE, then it should start up by itself as long as you leave it running when you exit/logout of KDE. That's how it works for me anyway. If that doesn't work for you, there is a directory in ~/.kde called "Autostart". You can create symbolic links in there to run programs at startup time. For example, I have "torsmo -> /usr/local/bin/torsmo".
If you're not running KDE, you could put something like "superkaramba /path/to/theme/index.theme" in your ~/.xinitrc before your window manager starts (near the bottom) |
