subversion

I am trying to build subversion with slackware , i keep getting this error
with ./configure
Code:
Checking for DSO...

malloc: make_cmd.c:194: assertion botched
malloc: block on free list clobbered
Stopping myself..../configure: line 1: 5040 Segmentation fault /home/seth/subversion-1.0.6/apr/configure --cache-file=/dev
/null --srcdir=/home/seth/subversion-1.0.6/apr
configure failed for apr
does any one know what the probem is , and has any one got subversion working with slackware 10

I noticed the --cache-file option for configure... Did you try to remove it or try a ./configure with no option if it fails ?

Try sh autogen.sh from /home/seth/subversion-1.0.6 directory then redo ./configure
