strange VirrtualBox behavior re Mouse integration with XP client

I've got all my USB devices working the latest version of VB with XP Pro as a client.....however, here's the problem....I can NOT use my mouse as integrated on the Client and Slack Desktop....my touchpad YES, but not my mouse (wireless usb logitech nano) unless I disable mouse integration, then I can't use it in linux, but I CAN use it in XP....here's the weird part....with integration ON, the touchpad works with both XP and Linux seamlessly. The mouse I can see moving around the screen like with an 'invisible curser'...that is I can see it highlight things, but no cursor. It seems to be problem with the touchpad....can the touchpad be preempting the mouse somehow? Got to be VB guest additions bug or a setting somewhere....if anyone has a clue I'd appreciated because I can not use my mouse when I minimize the VB Xp Client....touchpad yes, but that doesn't cut it. thanks for any assistance!! I need to work out of the VM, but need mouse integration, not touchpad integration. I don't remember how to disable the touchpad to try that....xorg?

PS: I couldn't download the 2.1.4 version of VB...server problem.

I've changed some settings....and basically, right now I've got all my usb devices working in XP Virtual Machine, however, no mouse integration....so, IOW, I can work from it, print, scan, etc....however I have to kill the machine to use anything on the slack desktop...mouse OR touchpad....I get a message shutting down the machine that my current 'video mode' doesn't support mouse integration ....I changed every setting imaginable, no joy....I say VB bug....I'm searching the VB forums now. VB is my salavation in that let's me stay in linux full time for everything except gaming.

If anyone can help on this, it would be most appreciated...I WILL try version 2.1.4 and see how that works, if I can download it....thanks for reading :D

SOLVED: I removed the logitech nano usb filter under VB usb settings so VB would just use 'whatever' my HOST was using....and, voila, I have mouse integration.....I don't know about myself sometimes....lol Everything works great, VB 2.2.0
