Strange Slack Install Problem

I installed Slack 8.1 and 9 on my desktop no problem. Now, I wanted to install it on my laptop. However, neither the bootdisk *or * the bootable cd work. Any suggestions? Currently, the BIOS is set to boot from CD-Rom and the system is running RH7. Please, don't tell me that I am stuck with RedHat!

Never mind...
I don't know what was wrong, but I just kept rebooting it with the CD inside and finally it worked...oh well, mysteries of the unexplained...

Sorry..
Should have been mores specific...the boot disk wouldn't boot
But, it is fixed now
