Steam - Fonts won't work but they are installed!

I've installed the fonts Verdana and Tahoma and they work in my browser (Mozilla Firefox), so I don't think that's the problem.

I also copied the .ttf files info fake_c/windows/Fonts/ .

So why isn't the fonts working? I've tested to change the font to Courier and it works, but if I change to a font that did NOT come with the installation, it wont work...

Hope someone out there can help me.

Cool Run slocate and do it manually

You could do it manually. Run slocate to find out where your current installation TTF fonts are, and then copy the windows TTF to the same dir.

Hehe, I've fixed some with it...the problem was that I didn't load the truetype fonts when i started Cedega. Well, things solved, and heres a good link for the people that need to install the fonts.

i put my tt fonts in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF. Restart and no issues. Fonts are able to be used by all programs. Also, you might want to install the freetypefonts from linuxpackages.net
