Startx cannot run twice

Hi,

After I run startx, I got KDE working. But after I logout and do startx again, it only returns a blank screen. I'm using Intel 82845G/GL Graphics Controller. Slack 8.1

You might be moving faster than your system

If you truly have no x running, you can delete a file in temp called: .X0-lock notice the dot, it's hidden.

Then try again.

If you want to have more than 1 x running use this:
startx -- :1
and that will startx on vt8 (ALT F8) and you can go on with more with :2 and so on.

Cool
