Ok, I am the noobiest on linux...
Just managed to install Slackware 9.1
I logged in through lilo into linux...
Now i want to start my KDE enviroment(which i chose on setup)
i tried the comand 'startx'
But i get the following error:

Fatal server error:
failed to initalize device

XIO : fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on x server "0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

Obs: My computer is a laptop which means im not using a mouse right now(im using a touchpad ofcourse), My Video card is an ATI 9200 with 64MB

Pls help me on this one

before you can startx ......you need to do

with xf86config, you may have to choose the generic "vesa" video drivers, i'm not sure the radeon ones will work. give it a shot and see.
