But I'm not coming in X window system!
My graphic card is a Hercules 3d Prophet 4000XT 64 MB TV-out, so far as I knew it's a Kyro basic chipset...
When I type /etc/X11/XF86Config/ the system says: permission deniend ? How do I know sure I'm loged as root? Please can someone help me? Sorry for my English

'whoami' will show who you are.
===========================
configure X using xf86config or Xconfigurator.
to edit /see /etc/X11/XF86Config, use some text editers like 'vi' or 'emacs'.
change the default option in /etc/inittab for having X as default.(change 3 into 5 for X in the initdefault option).
doubts?? use 'man <command>' or 'info <command> ' for help.or post them here.
====================================================

change the default option in /etc/inittab for having X as default. Howto? Change /etc/inittab (change 3 into 5 for X in the initdefault option).
doubts?? use 'man <command>' or 'info <command> ' for help.or post them here.

xf86config is for (re)configuring X.for making (small) changes,you dont have to reconfigure the whole thing.

================

to start x from command line, use 'startx'

========================

vi /etc/inittab

press 'i' to inseart.

there will be a line like

id:3:initdefault

change 3 into 5.

press ESC,then ':wq' to save.

doubt?? 'man vi'

=========================

i didnt understand your last question.If you want to mount your floppy drive,try

mount /dev/fd0(i guess that is your floppy drive) /mnt/floppy.

then cd /mnt/floppy.

dont forget to use tha man pages if you are in doubt.i.e,'man mount',man 'vi' ,man 'cd' etc.
