ssh authentication slow now
My pc has been running Slackware 11 and a 2.6.16.43 kernel. for a while now with a wired DSL eth0 connection. Recently I got my wireless PCI Belkin F5D7001 working with the Linuxant drivers which created an eth1 wireless connection. Since my pc is wired at the moment and I don't need the wireless now, I took the references to eth1 out of /etc/modules.conf and /etc/modprobe.conf and restarted.
Now only my wired eth0 connection is loading up fine and getting me an IP address as it was...but my ssh authentication is slow from a networked pc. Why? |
fixed it....for some reason netconfig fixed everything and now ssh authentication is fast again
