I have pasted one days login message from my syslog file. The distribution is Slackware 9.0. The MB is SOYO SY-P4IS2. I can log in and work, but I have little control of the sound and the printer does not work. The AC97 device includes some modem functionality, but if I disable the modem in the BIOS, the PCI modem quits working. Any fixes, patches or workarounds available for this?
