If you want to ue slapt-get on Slackware, see this thread, especially post #4: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...3-37-a-883241/
I prefer to do package management on Slackware using slackpkg for official Slackware packages. For third party packages, there is http://slackbuilds.org/. The sbopkg is a great tool for managing packages from slackbuilds.org. See this thread on that: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...online-883174/

You can get both of those at slackbuilds.org:
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13.../b43-firmware/
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13...nvidia-driver/
For the nvidia driver on Slackware, I just install the driver from nvidia.com. It works perfectly. You can use the package from slackbuilds.org if you prefer to make a Slackware package for the driver.
