Soundblaster Live! 24-bit (CA0106) Program Dependent Duplexing issue on -currentmulti

So I decided to move over to Slackware -current in my impatience for 13.37 to release. So after upgrading to -current duplexing worked like normal, I then proceeded to multilib it, but then noticed that while I was having Amarok playing Flash lacked audio I initially thought it was just a flash thing, but then closed both and tried opening a flash file in VLC and it worked, but trying to open up another one caused duplexing to break, so then I tried Dragon Player and I could open up multiple windows of working sound, and Amarok worked with it along with system sound (tested with the multimedia test under KDE's system settings). But trying to open a VLC would have the VLC player not playing sound, same with if I opened a browser and tried flash there. So.. Duplexing is both broken and not, and I haven't the slightest where to start.

Alsa should be able to handle mixing multiple streams, as long as they are all alsa streams. If an application tries to access the emulated oss device (/dev/dsp), mixing will break. Next time this happens, try running 'lsof | grep dsp' to see if any of the applications are using it.
