Sound problems...

I am in the process of adding a tv-tuner board to my system. When the tuner isn't in the case then my sound works, when it's in the case the sound doesn't work. The drivers for both are installed, it might be an easy fix but I just don't know enough.

When I do a rexima with-out the tuner installed, I get 10 channels that I can move. But when I have the tuner in, I only have 3 and I can't move any of the sliders. This is very irratating.

Neither do we...

Give us the lspci -vv of both situations,
with and without the TV tuner?

Cheers,
Tink

P.S.: Impatience is not considered a virtue,
and yelling is unpopular.

P.S. I thought it might be because the Sound Card was onboard but I disabled the onboard sound card and stuck in a different card and still the same problem. It seems like Linus thinks my tuner is my sound card, so it sets up the system that way. That's why when I run rexima, I only get 3 channels, that's the number of inputs on the sound card.
