I have sound but the KDE mixer does not have any affect on it, mute or EQ does nothing nor does the volume control in XMMS do anything. I have tried MP3 and wavs.
Anyone have any idea how I can get control of the volume?
I have no idea. I changed the XMMS settings outpout to arts and now the volume and EQ controls in XMMS work. I guess thats good enough, I guess I dont really need the controls in KDE. I originally used alsamixer to get the sound to work.
Thanks.
