sound,firefox,flashplayer

I'm not sure where the problem lies with slackware, it may be flash or firefox.
After playing movies on the web via firefox and flash player, sometimes the sound will start "skipping" or just have no sound at all. It will play a couple hours with no problems, and then suddenly kick in. I am not doing anything on the comp when it happens, only watching something. To fix it all I have to do is restart firefox.
Anybody know of this issue?

This sounds like an old flash bug.
If you don't want to restart then ctrl+shift+p and then one more time to go back to normal mode should also work.
This bug has been in flash since they started using alsa but it has never been fixed.

This feels does like it is a bug with flash, another thing that sometimes happens is the video starts playing at superspeed (maybe thats why the sound starts skipping, as its trying to keep up with the video). Applications running from a virtual box os have played the sound fine.

I'll try this next time it happens
