OK I am not hitting the computer now long, when I first had Slackware games like that worked fine but I wanted to try out Mandrake and the sound did not work in the games, that is why I switched back and now they don't work with Slack. I went and turned everything up and nonthing worked. Any ideas?

try alsamixer under one of your usernames. It might be muted.
