sorry but I've come to this conclusion on my own ....

Am I Right? If I can boot from my cdrom directly I don't need any boot or root floppy's??

I burned 8.1 iso (the one without KDE or GNOME ; don't need bloat) and I restart my comp and this cd boots slackware automatically. Can I go on installing from here?

thnks
