1-does anyone know how to change the resolution? i have a widescreen.
2-how can i use my brazilian portuguese keyboard, how can i configure this?

1) Add "1280x800" (assuming that's what you're after) to your xorg.conf in this line

Modes "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
2) Have a look in /etc/rc.d/rc.keymap for which keymap is loaded during boot. Seems you've already got "Option "XkbLayout" "br"" set in your xorg.conf, so that should be fine.

xorg problems, again.
i dont know what happened, when i press startx it say no screens found.
i tried to configure xorg again with xorgsetup, when i try to install the nvidia driver again- it is not possible.
in addition, i wasnt able to use bash as widescreen - ie you know, when lilo starts.
please help, i need to do a performance next week and would like to use slackware. .
what shall i do?

I would go without the nvidia driver, unless your performance is going to involve 3D games or graphics. (Use the 'nv' driver instead)

i am having problems with the nvidia driver i had installed, every 2 weeks "no screens found" appears.
i want to uninstall the driver and reinstall it again, how do i do that?

"./NVIDIA* --uninstall" or read "./NVIDIA* --help".
