Sony DRU-720A k3b grinding noise
Hello again. For some reason my DRU-720A cd/dvd drive seems to make a grinding noise when I burn to a cd in k3b. I'm updated to the latest firmware for the drive too. It seems to do this grinding noise when k3b Performs Optimum Calibration. I'm worried this grinding is damaging the drive. If anyone uses a DRU-720A in Slackware and doesn't have a problem with the grinding, please lemme know. Thanks
P.S. I just booted into windows and I get the same grinding in Windows...No one ever buy a Sony dvd/cd drive...
