Something cool...!

Sounds like spam, huh? Anyway, I've been experimenting with Freerock Gnome 2.10 and found out I didn't like it after installing it. Not being able to add launchers to the applications menu or being able to log out (not as root), were annoying to say the least, and dealbreakers when it was all said and done.

I just installed Gware's Gnome 2.8 over the top of Freerock 2.10 and it works great! Not only can I add launchers and log out, I kept all the cool new apps that Freerock 2.10 left behind!

That's not a Freerock problem or Gware's addition (from what i've been reading here) it seems the menu editor and the log-out options were left in Gnome's 2.10 version.
Anyway, nice to know you've a working system now

Yes, exactly. I should have specified. Gnome 2.10 was not my friend - 2.8 works great.
