hey guys,

I'm getting some errors and I couldn't find useful info on how to solve then. If any one have some hints I would be very glad.

my dmesg output is in the topic...

Your computer temperature is so high. Can you try to cool it down first? Then see if there are still errors.

raphaeldavidf 12-12-2012 05:08 PM

Where did you saw that? My computer temperature is 42~45 in normal use, and 39~41 in idle...I think that is pretty normal temperature...

H_TeXMeX_H 12-13-2012 02:17 AM

I would run memtest86+, GIMPS test mode 1, and maybe a smartctl long test.

I saw the machine check exceptions. This might be unimportant, depending on your kernel version.

So which errors are you referring to when you wrote "I'm getting some errors and I couldn't find useful info"?

Just finished all tests, no errors at all...

I think that I've found the solution for these errors:

I would recommend upgrading the kernel to 3.4.x or 3.6.x.

It may be a bug in the kernel:

Most errors were fixed with kernel 3.6.6(3.4.x didn't). Some minor errors appeared, but all were easily fixable.

Thanks to all for the help!
