snd_emu10k1 doesnt load automatically in 2.6


hi,

i compiled kernel 2.6.0. and i discovered that, there are nothing in the lsmod. so, how am i load my snd_emu10k1 at the booting time?? pls advise thanks...

Check or edit your /etc/modules.conf file or /etc/rc.d/rc.modules files. Were you sure to include the support for them at compile time?

Did you upgrade your module_init_tools to version >= 0.9.14 ?

yes i did, i upgraded to 0.9.14... how to use module_init_tools??
