smbmount doesn't work after reinstalling samba ...

After installing some fresh samba source ...when I try to smbmount it gives me the following error ...

root@srv:/# smbmount
bash: smbmount: command not found
root@srv:/#

What the hell has happened with this thing ???

Try putting: where smbmount
and see where it's, then run it with a full path.
Also, if you use su, try using su - instead that will load all the path values for root.

Try whereis smbmount or if you configured locate, you can use locate smbmount
