SLAX - Live Slackware CD

I've downloaded this and played around with it and must say, I like Knoppix, but I like this one more!

SLAX

Not as bloated as Knoppix with all of the software either.

Check it out!

bloated?
SLAX offers minimum set of tools, whereas knoppix is a complete OS.
I would prefer Knoppix when anything happens to my sys, where as with SLAX you have do stuff with minimum tools

Slax has saved my butt/system multiple times. I would highly recommend it. It is meant to fit on a mini CD btw.

i also recommend slax, i think it's VERY good... it's my favorite live cd distro...

knoppix is okay, but slax gives you a low-fat, great-tasting solution that fits in your shirt pocket...

=)

not really, it's just that slax is intended to fit on a 180mb mini-cd...

it comes with plenty of neat stuff...
