Slackware64-current installation

I am using Slackware for 2 or 3 years, but now I have a problem. I decided to install Slackware64-current. With 'usbimg2disk.sh' prepared USB stick and started installation. But after grub menu I see this. I've tried to pass several vga modes (text, vgahi, vgalo, vga!6) but without any effect. Can anybody explain to me, what can be done? (Lenovo G780, switchable graphics).

Where did you get your image for --Current? Also, what is the precise chipset on your graphics card?

(Sorry, I was unable to make out the picture you posted.)

Have you tried booting the installer using the 'nomodeset' kernel parameter?

I don't know this model but with mine (Lenovo Thinkpad W520) I can in the firmware menu make a setting to use only the Intel integrated graphics card. If possible, try that, if that works you should be able to tune your configuration after installation.

Does the boot process stop or is it just that X will not start?

Boot process is going on, I see 5 columns of setup output side-by-side. I can choose keymap, login, start setup, but further steps are impossible with such screen - nothing can be read.

This could be due to a corrupt file /isolinux/initrd.img that ships the installer. What happens when you type setup is that the installer uses the 'dialog' program for further steps, but it is unlikely that doing that leads to a so much corrupt screen. Just in case, to check if the display in the other ttys is OK, press Alt+F2 or Alt+F3 (or Alt+F4 to see the log).

I suggest that you download another initrd.img from here: http://mirrors.slackware.com/slackwa...rent/isolinux/, use md5sum to make an inintrd.img.md5 checksum file and with it check the integrity of the file that you previously used.

Screen is corrupted from the very beginning of setup process, it is not corrupted by Setup programm. All the output from the very beginning is in 5 columns. Looks like bad vga mode. Other tty's I'll try.
