Hello everyone! I'd like to take a moment to announce that I am not a complete novice to Linux, and I am also aware that running the .Net Frameworks on a Linux based system is a tricky business. But, I wanted to ask for help in attempting to get the .Net Frameworks *Up to 2.0* to work under my Slackware 13.1 system running the KDE XServer. I ran Winetricks and installed dotnet10 and dotnet20 and now I cannot run any programs using wine without getting the following error messages *All programs including Winetricks*:
Code:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Program:
C:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscorsvw.exe
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
The following is the console output:
Code:
root@darkstar:~# sh winetricks net20sp2
fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly L"Microsoft.VC80.CRT" (8.0.50608.0)

The major problem is that I don't know how to remove the .NET Framework 2.0 so that I can at least run applications again. Any help fixing this would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!
