For the past three years, my office was in the shadow of that tall building, at ground floor of the next building (where the R&D dept is housed).
My future job will not be on campus but some 2 clicks closer to home, because they moved the whole IT department (with the exception of IT Help Desk) off-campus years ago.

This thread is golden. It represents the Slackware community in it's whole.
All for one, one for all. Cheers.

It is in cycling distance from where I live. My job would that of Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer in the Electrical Engineering Support Department of IT.

Interestingly, the IT Director told me when I sent him a "thank you for hiring me" message, that he has a challenge for me. Literally he said "build a Slackware-like community here inside ASML".

Wonderful. I wish you a nice startup on the new job and success in your challenge.

Congratulations!

Out of curiosity, how much it is "cycling distance"? Just to compare to my "cycling distance".
