Slackware packages

I used to run Debian, but have decided to take Slackware for a spin.

In Debian I could just type apt-get dist-upgrade, and I would get all the security fixes install.

But where do I find the newest Slackware packages???

For Slackware 8.1 look at the slackware-8.1/patches/packages tree. It should be available on your favorite mirror site.

swaret

Hey:

Search on http://www.freshmeat.net for a utility called 'swaret', it automatically downloads and installs updates. Pretty simple to use and configure.
